When did you realize that you didn’t choose the SneakHER life, but the SneakHER life chose you? 

I realized at a very young age that I had an obsession with sneakers. It was my 10th birthday and my Godmother bought me the Cherry 12’s as a gift but they were too small. My mom was against buying Jordan’s and waited too late to try and exchange them for a bigger size. They were sold out EVERYWHERE and I was devastated! I was determined from that day to save my coins and buy every shoe or Jay I wanted. By the way, I slept on the last release of the Cherry 12’s and they keep pushing the release, of them back but once I cop them, I said I was retiring from Jay’s (We shall see). Lol 

What is the wildest thing that you have ever done for a pair of kicks?  

It may not seem like much, but for me wildest thing I’ve ever done for a pair of sneakers was get up at 3am and actually stand in line for a store to open, to get the Bred 11’s back in 2012. I’ve been fortunate to keep a sneaker plug but because there was so much hype on that shoe, the plugs couldn’t even guarantee my shoe. Lol. So, I camped out at the crack of dawn to be the first in line at a City Gear store. Only to find out when they opened the manager who promised me and many others a pair, sold all of his stock to a bigger store for more money!! Lol, talk about devastated! I got them for the 2019 release though!  
 

What is your favorite sneaker of all time?  

Favorite sneaker of all time has to be the Cool Grey 11s hands down. One of the smoothest Jays ever made!!  

Would you trade your entire collection for your Holy Grail?  

I plead the fifth! Lol 

If you had to wear one sneaker for the rest of your life, which one would it be? 

One of the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn are the Question Mids by Allen Iverson. I could probably wear them every day for comfort! Style wise ANY Jordan 11.  

 What is the one sneaker that you just can’t get into, but so many people love?  

I just can’t get into the Balenciaga Triple S sneakers. Way too bulky for me!  

How would describe your SneakHER style?  

I believe a shoe is one of the most important assists to an outfit. So whether I’m wearing sweats or actually dressing for style, the sneakers always have to be clean! Dirty sneaks are a no go for me!  

What do hope to see more of from sneaker culture and streetwear for women?  

I want to continue to see beautiful women confidently rocking their sneaks and continuing to kill the game!
