BGK: How did your customizing journey begin?
A: I started customizing when I was in high school. I remember drawing on my jeans and sneakers. I would always find myself doodling on my sneakers in class and later realized it had become a part of my style. My friends would ask me to draw cartoons on their jackets and design their sneakers. From that point I fell in love with designing apparel and never gave it up.
BGK: How would you describe your creative process?
A: I describe my creative process as a feeling. I'm moved by how I feel. If it's a beautiful day . I may feel like painting with blues and greens and also decide what to wear in the same manor. I live my life like a body of calm water, I go with the flow, absorb everything in my path and l leave my own masterpiece behind me.
BGK: The mind of a creative is always busy, where do you find inspiration?
A: I find life inspirational, especially black people. I enjoy colors and all the different shades. I feel that black people are the color shades of the world and we also have stories to tell. We tend to tell these stories with our expressions and the ways that we live our lives.
BGK: What is your go to album to get the creative juices flowing?
A: My go to album would have to be Goodie Mob Dirty South.
BGK: How would you describe your personal style?
A: I would say my style is a little skater, a little hip hop, and whatever the hell I'm feeling for that day.
BGK: The way we view our collection, is always very personal. With that in mind, what sneaker do you consider the most exclusive in your collection and why?
A: My Off-White Carolina Blue Jordan 1
BGK: What is the one shoe that you passed on and immediately regretted?
A: any of the Nike SB Dunks
BGK: What is one sneaker that you would like to add to your collection?
A: Nike SB Dunk High x Carpet Company Royal Pulse
BGK: If you could re-design one sneaker, what would it be and why?
A: Any of the Air Force 1s because I just think they're a chunky ugly shoe.
BGK: What is your dream collaboration?
A: Me and Nike
BGK: What would you like the people to know?
A: That I'm going to be a Millionaire and help the world! Remember I said that in 2021!
